Disciple Multipling Intensive

A Disciple-Making Intensive is a 10-week long immersion in a Disciple-making Team. It’s more than a class, it’s an experience in learning to multiply disciples in our city and grow to understand God’s Heart for disciple-making among the unreached.

Goer Groups

Goer Group is a nine-month apprenticeship in which goers and mobilizers are mentored for fruitful ministry by being immersed into a passionate, Christ-centered community focused on reaching out to internationals. Goer Group exists to equip disciple-makers who intend to move overseas or mobilize within the next one to three years. Citylight Mobilizers will personally coach each participant by modeling cross-cultural evangelism and other ministry skills, helping participants grow in their character and walk with God, and also connecting them to a healthy team overseas!

Advocacy Teams partner in the work of catalyzing and supporting church planting movements by supporting Goers sent by Citylight Lincoln to ensure they are thriving. A Goer is thriving when they are happy, healthy, and holy. As a church family, we desire to walk with those we have sent out in a way that ensures the best of our ability that they are able to flourish in these areas, which is implemented through advocacy teams.

Perspectives Course

Every year we partner with other local churches to co-host a 15-week course on the perspectives. Perspectives is a course all about God’s Global Heart. Throughout the 15-week long course, you’ll learn about the Biblical, historical, strategic, and cultural perspectives on Global Missions. Perspectives is a great introduction to the world of Missions.
