It is CLEAR that the Lord is moving! Throughout this process we have seen so many answers to prayer! The first of which is the need for more space! This new building would have room for SALT to gather, for CLKids to expand, for Light Co to grow, and for a bigger Sunday gathering room! Not to even mention the location! The prayer has always been to be closer to campus, staying in central LNK, and we see that answered on 18th and O St [just a couple blocks from campus]!

OUR STORY

2016 - Citylight Lincoln Planted

For our very first gathering, we put out every chair we had! In faith, we believed God was bringing His people. That same gathering became standing room only!

 2017/18/20 - We Plant Three Churches

We didn't have the seating capacity our church had grown to need, but we did have sending capacity! Throughout these years we planted South, North & FoCo!

2023 - CLKids Adds Rooms

Within the past couple years, our kids ministry had tripled! The space we had no longer sufficed, so we built up walls to create multiple rooms out of the originals!

2023 - SALT Moves to the Rococo

Over the past couple years, our college ministry had outgrown the sanctuary! At the first night in the Rococo, over 1100 students were in attendance!

2023 - Four Gatherings

As our church family grew, our space would no longer fit the congregation! In order to make room, we added a fourth gathering to accomodate need!

2023 - We got a New Building 

The Lord has been throughout this whole opportunity in ways we cannot celebrate enough! The new space will not only be bigger, but it will also have a parking garage!

But what's next?

A reality to this new building is the journey to take it from a "warehouse" to a "church." The Lord has been throughout the process and partnerships in ways we can only celebrate! Take a look below at the  phases of this Launchpad Vision!

Design Phase

Partner: ADA Architecture Design 
This phase is marked by the opportunity to take dreams and turn them into designs! To be able to draw out, tangibly, the different things the Lord has laid on our hearts.

Permits

Partner: Lincoln County Permit 
This phase holds the reality that we want to steward this gift from the Lord and make sure we are doing our due diligence towards safety for our Church and keeping everything up to code!

Renovations

Partner: Brester Construction 
This phase is where the feet meet the pavement! The steps of preparation have been accomplished, and we get to see the creation of what our new church home will look like!

Move In

This phase is set to finish in 2025! What an ANSWER to prayer! The Lord has laid the foundation to this whole journey and without Him, absolutely none of this would be possible! We celebration, with anticipation,  all that He has in store for the road ahead.

the launchpad vision + your part in it

Our heart is that this building would not be a landing spot, but rather a launchpad for sending! We feel that the Lord has continually laid on our heart the vision for not a greater seat count, but rather, a higher sending capacity! Our mission is to reach networks, the next generation, new cities, and the nations and this building is a catalyst to be able to do those things in ways we simply couldn't before! God has opened the doors to so many opportunities and we want to be faithful in our acts of obedience towards them!

PRAYER

Please join us as we continue to pray for this new space!
 
That God would keep the workers safe.
That we would be able to impact and reach our new neighbors.
That this would be a space for sending and not just more seating.
That we would be constantly seeking God’s wisdom.

The reality is there are tangible things that need to happen before we can move in.

In order to make this happen we need people who are:

Willing to partner with us in this miraculous answer to prayer

A: It has to go through by December 29th.
